University Prep Summer Programme
Choosing the best college or university is one of the most important decisions young people make. After you decide on that college or university, you need to get accepted to it, a lengthy process which takes a great deal of planning, preparation, effort, and assistance to do well. The AIFS University Prep Programme at Amherst College is an intensive 3 week summer programme aimed at helping foreign students to apply to a US university or college. It focuses on assisting college bound students to increase their SAT scores and in becoming savvy applicants as they face the ins and outs of the US college application and admissions process. www.giftedstudy.org
Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG)
This extraordinary academic programme, organised by the US National Society for the Gifted and Talented in conjunction with AIFS, is a three week summer programme for very able children, aged 10 to 17. Applicants must be able to speak and write English well. www.giftedstudy.org
